Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how ProbateWire ("we," "us") handles information in connection with our data subscription service.
Information we collect
From our subscribers and prospects, we collect only what we need to operate the service: your name, business name, and email address, and — when you subscribe — billing information processed by our payment provider. We do not collect or store your full payment-card details; those are handled directly by Stripe.
Public-record data we deliver
The core of our service is information drawn from public government records — county probate court filings and public property records. This is public-record business intelligence. We do not perform skip tracing, and we do not sell consumer telephone numbers or other regulated consumer data. Our data is not a consumer report and may not be used for any purpose governed by the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
How we use information
We use your contact and billing information to deliver the subscription, process payments, respond to your inquiries, and send you service-related messages. We use B2B email in compliance with the CAN-SPAM Act, including honest identification and a working opt-out honored promptly.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate — for example, our payment processor (Stripe) and our email delivery provider — and only as needed to provide the service, or where required by law.
Opting out
You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time by replying "stop" or using the unsubscribe instruction in any message. We honor opt-outs promptly. To request deletion of your contact information, email us at the address below.
Data retention and security
We retain subscriber and prospect information for as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations, and we take reasonable measures to protect it.
